Hurley Rip My Shredstick Tour Stop # 3: New Jersey

New Jersey is a trip! Especially after just driving from California on a tour bus to get there. After the four-day-road mission was accomplished, our third event of the Rip My Shredstick tour was set in motion. Our athletes didn’t travel quite as long to arrive. They flew from various parts of the US and met the tour in Philadelphia. After a night of throwing dice and playing Hold em’ at the Trump Taj Mahal in Atlantic City, the crew got about an hour of shut eye before the Granville Ave, Margate, New Jersey Rip My Shredstick event got underway. The weather was absolutely horrible! It rained like crazy for most of the day and the waves were far less than perfect. None of that stopped it from being a great success. The 48 competitors braved the weather and had the times of their lives hanging out and surfing with Hurley’s best pros.
