Well, you can imagine what happens next. Kala Alexander runs down and gets hold of A.I. in the shoredump and drags him up into the Kauai Boys Mansion (it isn't the Volcom house, for Chrissake!) and these huge incredible deep cheers begin ringing out across the beach. Nobody can see in there; all they can hear are these cheers. Up at the Red Bull house, Andy's HQ, they're already setting things up for a Big Night. Lots of people are asking questions of A.I. in the media van. He does a pretty good job of talking, all things considered, for a man who's just won $60,000 and fulfilled a lifetime dream. In between the ride descriptions and the thank-yous, he manages to fit in the only thing that to your reporter makes any sense at all: "This is the icing on the cake. It really happened!
