A Win / Win Situation

Last Friday, Slater added a little icing to his unprecedented fifth win of the season with a celebration at the Colombatto compound at Cotton’s Point. This is the same compound where he and Eddie Vedder helped raise half a million dollars for cleanwater causes in a single night last spring. But on this night, Kelly picked up the tab as 100 of this closest friends gathered to wish him well on the Europe leg and offer a “pre-toast” to his inevitable ninth world title.
