Late Delivery - Tahiti Goes off!

Trick or treat. The day after Halloween, after Tahitians just came to grips with one of the worst seasons in years, they awoke to the Mother of All southern Hemis: a solid 15 feet with some bombs that rivaled the great one of the past. We're holding a couple of Manoa Drollet that look right up there in the record-breaking category, but we'll save those for print. In the meantime, we're sharing a few just to hold you off until the mag comes out. Details are sparse at the moment, but according to SURFING's photog on the scene, Jeff Flindt, it was "stupid." One look at the photos, and you'll understand why.
