Stop 6 of the 2008 ASP World Tour Season - The Rip Curl Pro Search
Being held just before the Beijing Olympics (from July 30 to August 10) the 2008 Rip Curl Pro Search will take the world's Top 45 male surfers "somewhere" new this season, promising even more excitement than the sporting world witnessed when we held the event in Reunion, Mexico and Chile in 2005, 06 and 07 respectively. Although Rip Curl and the ASP will not be revealing the exact location for this year's event, the wave will be a major test for competitors and could force some results that will shake up the ASP Rankings at the season's halfway point.
